Getting involved

Volunteering some of your time

WE  cannot achieve our vision without YOU

One way you can get involved is by volunteering some of your time.

We need the help of caring people who are reliable and have an interest in social justice.

People who are willing to give up some of their time to assist people with disabilities living in Western Sydney.

If you would like information on how to become a volunteer at CAWS, please contact us on (02)9893 8210 or email

Management Committee Members

We are looking for people with a strong commitment to social justice to join the management committee. Ideally you will bring one of the following:

  • Insight or experience of disability and its impacts on individuals and families
  • Skills and experience in any of these areas: Advocacy, Community Development, Funding or Fundraising, Legal, Finances or Management.

The management committee meets monthly at a time that is suitable for all Management Committee members. As a member of the committee, your responsibilities involve oversight of the strategic plan, ensuring CAWS delivers the best service to people with disability, making sure that the organisation is a good steward of its funds and complies with its contractual requirements.
